Yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes from mid-night, giving 50 days to people to deposit these notes in banks.
"The Prime Minister has taken a revolutionary step to clean up black money and corruption in the economy. I urge people to support and be part of this cleanliness drive," Kumar told reporters.
"Hard-earned money of the common man will not go anywhere. You just have to deposit in banks account and you will get that back. We have made all necessary facilities. If you have black money in big bags, there will be action."
People need to bear initial problems in this cleanliness drive and help others be part of it and make it a big success, he said.
