by a powerful blast while the priest was preparing for the evening prayers, police said today.
No casualties have been reported, they said.
The blast took place yesterday when priest Roop Kishore was preparing for the evening 'aarti' at the temple, station officer J M Rawat said.
There were cracks on the walls and the window panes shattered due to the impact of the blast, he said.
According to the police, the incident could be the handiwork of mischief mongers.
A forensic team has taken the samples after conducting a thorough inspection of the blast site, they said.
