BMW launches MINI Cooper S Carbon Edn on Amazon at Rs 39.9lakh

German luxury carmaker BMW today launched a limited edition of its MINI Cooper model, which will be available exclusively on Amazon, priced at Rs 39.9 lakh (ex-showroom price).
The MINI Cooper S Carbon Edition is available exclusively at Amazon India as a Completely Built-Up unit (CBU). It is powered by a 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine.
The model as new John Cooper Works tuning kit, which allows a precisely measured increase in performance properties and a particularly intense racing sensation.
"Available exclusively on Amazon India, this limited edition MINI Cooper S Carbon Edition along with official John Cooper Works accessories combine authentic sportiness with premium characteristic," BMW Group India President Frank Schloeder said in a statement.

GIPC awards 2 solar power projs of 80 MW to Vikram Solar * Gujarat Industries Power Co Ltd today said it has awarded two solar power projects of 40 MW each at Gujarat Solar Park, Charanka to Vikram Solar.
"GIPCL has issued two letters of Intent for two Solar Power Projects of 40 MW each at Plot Nos. 1 and 3 at Gujarat Solar Park, Charanka to Vikram Solar Pvt Ltd, Kolkata on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis, with O & M for ten years," GIPCL said in a BSE filing today.
The said Projects are scheduled to be commissioned by June, 2017, it said.

Khushboo appointed VP, Production Management, at RentoMojo * In continuation of its plans toexpand its leadership team, India's leading online rental solutions company, RentoMojo has appointed Khushboo Gupta as its Vice President (Product Management).
At Rentomojo, her core focus will be on building all products in a scalable fashion to expand beyond the current asset classes, a company statement said here today.
Khushboo will be working towards building RentoMojo as a highly engaged brand from consumer's point of view, it said.
RentoMojo, a company started by IIT-M alumni in 2014, offers online rental services for furniture and appliances and furnish homes at minimal costs.
