The boat capsized around 2 am in the waters, nearly 34 nautical miles from Satpati town, Palghar district rural police spokesman Hemant Kumar said.

Upon getting an SOS alert, the Coast Guard personnel and local fishermen rushed to the spot in boats, he said.

They rescued all the 13 fishermen and brought them to the shore, Kumar added.
