Bodies of couple found hanging from tree in Rajasthan

The bodies of a teenage girl and her 20-year-old lover were today found hanging from a tree in Bapji Nagar in Baran district, police said.
The deceased, identified as Krishna Bengali (15) and Gautam Bengali (20), allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves with a saree during the wee hours, police said.
The duo belonged to Gatti village under Bhanwargarh police station of Baran and had moved to Baran town in search of work, they said.
In his complaint, the father of the deceased girl told police that his daughter had fled with Gautam from the village a couple of weeks ago and both of them were living in Baran Kotwali area, police said.

The couple was probably in love and wanted to marry but it was not possible as the girl was minor and the parents were not agreeing to their marriage, following which they took the extreme step, the police suspected.
