The bodies were buried by the in-laws of the victim, Ahsana, on September 15 and were exhumed yesterday, police said.
Ahsana had married Tahir ten months ago. She had given birth to a child, who was born dead, on September 14 and she died the next day, they said.
In a complaint, the victim's parents alleged that she was beaten to death by her in-laws for dowry and her body was buried without informing them, police said.
A case of dowry death has been registered against six persons, including her husband. The accused are absconding, police said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation is on, they added.
