The operation was carried out in the night of July 13, said an official communication from Coast Guard.
Local police contacted the Coast Guard on the night of July 13 to help locate and recover the body of 19-year-old who had drowned in the lake that evening, the communication said.
Coast Guard and fire brigade personnel brought two inflatable boats to assist the diver for scanning the bottom of the pond. The body was located after about two hours of search in dark, said the release.
The diving operation was led by Deputy Commandant Sanjay Kumar, in-charge, Coast Guard Rapid Response Diving team.
