The deceased has been identified as Kaira Parker, a native of Uttar Pradesh, they said, adding that she had been living with a boy in the room in Sukhi Ram Park area.
According to police, Parker's body was found at 11.30 AM after neighbours alerted them about a foul smell emanating from her room.
"Police have found no injury marks on her body. Her postmortem report is awaited to ascertain the exact cause of death and further investigation is on," a police official said.
