A call claiming that a bomb has been planted in the Indore-Jodhpur Ranthambor Express sent Railway and police authorities into a tizzy as they searched all trains here.
The call, however, turned out to be hoax as nothing suspicious was found after the search last night, a Government Railway Police (GRP) official told PTI today.
Police Control Room received the anonymous call late last night that the bomb has been placed in the express train and it will explode at the time of its departure at 6 AM today, he said.
Following this Railway authorities, GRP and Railway Protection Force (RPF) searched the train with the help of bomb disposal and dog squads but no explosive was found, the official said.
Other trains standing at that on different platforms and also those in the yard were also checked, but nothing suspicious was found, he said.
Local police are tracing the person who made the call.
