Incidentally, the incident comes in the wake of the Supreme Court issuing a stay order on the release of the 'Zanjeer' remake, which actors Priyanka Chopra and Teja.
Led by its co-convener, T Sriranga Rao, TAJAC leaders gave a representation to Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma and sought booking a case against Teja and his private bodyguards for "beating" up techies Kalyan and Phanish last Sunday.
They, however, did not lodge any complaint with the police and asserted that "it was a normal incident and it was the end of the matter" and they did not want to "exaggerate" the incident.
After submitting the representation, Sriranga Rao told reporters that several newspapers carried photos of Kalyan and Phanish being kicked and beaten.
He claimed that the techies at the Banjara Hills police station were "threatened and intimidated in the police station to not lodge any complaint."
Techies Phanish and Kalyan said that, last Sunday, as they drove towards Panjagutta and stopped their car at a traffic junction after the red signal, a car behind their's repeatedly honked in order to go ahead.
