Acting on a tip-off, Furkan, the younger brother of notorious criminal Sabir was arrested in Kairana yesterday, circle officer Rajesh Bhardwaj said.
Sabir was killed in an encounter with the police on January 3 in Jandhedi village in the district.
A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has been registered against Furkan, he said, adding that he has been sent to jail.
