The digital version of the show has been created especially for YouTube and will enable audience inter-activity and engagement by allowing viewers to play along during the show, Mondelez India Foods, which was earlier known as Cadbury India, said in a statement.
"Bournvita Quiz Contest (BQC), the oldest running quiz contest in India, is all set to make an iconic shift. Like the shift from radio to TV in the early 90s, BQC is going to make a big move, into a medium of the future, by moving into the digital space.
The show will go live on December 25 with two new episodes every week for 7 consecutive weeks on the BQC YouTube Channel on every Tuesday and Friday.
The duration of each episode will be 12 minutes approximately, which will include two minutes for the audience round, during which the questions will be asked simultaneously to the participants and the viewers, and the viewers will be able to play along with the show participants.
"Through the digital space, I am extremely confident that we will be able to connect and engage with our viewers on a much larger and wider scale," said its host-turned-politician Derek O' Brien.
Mondelez India Foods' products include Cadbury Dairy Milk, Celebrations, Bournville, 5Star, Perk, Gems, Bournvita, Tang, Oreo, Halls, Choclairs and Bubbaloo.
