A 16-year-old boy died on Tuesday after falling from the terrace of a building in Jail Road locality here when he was flying a kite, police said.
The deceased was identified as Sufiyaan Nijam Qureshi, said an official of Nashik Road police station.
"Qureshi and some of his friends were flying kites from the terrace of the building when he lost his balance and fell down. He suffered grievous injuries to his head and was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead," he said.
His body was later sent to Nashik civil hospital for post-mortem, the official said.
