Boy jumps into Jhelum during clashes, feared dead

An 11-year-old boy was feared dead after he jumped into the Jhelum river during clashes between protesters and security forces in Noor Bagh area of the city today, police said.
Danish Haroon jumped into the river this evening when a group of protesters was chased by security forces, a police officer said.
He said efforts were on to trace him but chances of his survival are bleak.
The 11-year-old is feared to have drowned, he added.
