Brick kiln owner robbed of Rs 6.25 lakh and bike

A brick kiln owner was robbed of Rs 6.25 lakh and his bike by armed miscreants at a village in Sitamarhi district of Bihar, a police officer said today.
The brick kiln owner Shambhu Purve was returning home on his bike when three motorcycle-borne armed men intercepted him at Araila village and looted Rs 6.25 lakh cash and took away his bike at gun point, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Amrendra Mishra said.
The victim has lodged an FIR against Shivji Mahato and Virendera Mahato, besides an unidentified man, for robbing him, he said.
A probe was on.
