"People around the world are taking note of BRICS... And, we are just two weeks from the summit. And, lot of talk went around it. But, BRICS is not a 'West vs the rest model' but rather 'West with the rest'," senior MEA official Amar Sinha said.
"BRICS is a work in progress," he added.
He was speaking at event held at the Press Club here to launch BRICS Press Club Network.
Ambassadors of South Africa, Brazil and senior official from Chinese and Russian Embassy were present on the occasion.
