"The Board of Directors... Has appointed Dr. YSP Thorat and Dr. Ajay Singh as additional directors of the company with effect from 13th February, 2017...," the company said in a regulatory filing.
Thorat retired as a chairman of NABARD in November 2007, and is currently a director of Tata Chemicals. Besides, he was associated with the planning commission for the 10th and 11th five year plans.
Singh is a professor at National Institute of Public Finance and Policy. He has held positions at the Ministry of Finance, among others.
