The 31-year-old singer would take centrestage in the upcoming documentary 'I Am Britney Jean', which would air on December 22 on E!, reported Rolling stone.
The 90-minute TV special will follow the 'Toxic' hitmaker as she prepares for her two-year residency, at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Directed by award-winning filmmakers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, it will go inside the excitement, preparation and emotion as the headliner works towards the show.
Spears' Las Vegas residency will kick off on December 27, with rehearsals slated to begin on December 10. She's currently also gearing up to release her eighth studio album, Britney Jean on December 3.
