BS Ltd's joint ventures bag orders worth Rs 157 cr

BS Ltd today said its joint ventures with Jakson Ltd and Vihan Enterprises have emerged as the lowest bidder for projects worth Rs 157.05 crore.
"The company was declared the L1 (Lowest) Bidder, in Joint Venture with Jakson Ltd, for Jharkhand Urja Sanchar Nigam Ltd and U P Power Transmission Corporation Ltd; and, in Joint Venture with Vihan Enterprises, for MPPTCL projects," BS Ltd said in a BSE filing today.
According to the statement, the bid amount for the said projects is Rs 1,479.53 crore. The company was declared Ll (Lowest) bidder for Rs 157.05 crore, while bids worth Rs 824.97 crore are under process and bids aggregating to Rs 497.51 crore were lost.

The company won bids worth Rs 48.99 crore, in Joint Venture with Jakson Ltd, from Jharkhand U[a Sanchar Nigam Ltd for Construction of 220kv DC Transmission Line Jasidih-Dumka 80km.
It has also won bids aggregating to Rs 41.25 crore, in Joint Venture with Jakson Ltd, from U P Power Transmission Corporation Ltd for Construction of (2X40MVA), 132133 KV Substation Nawabganj (Gonda) and construction of 220t132/33kV S/s Bachrawan Raibareilly and 220t132133kV S/s Amethi Substation.
It has won bids aggregating to Rs 66.81 crore, in Joint Venture with Vihan Enterprises, from MP Power Transmission Company Ltd for construction of 331220 kV Pooling Substation at Badwar along with Associated 220 kV DCDS Transmission line (Route length 3Kms) and for construction of 331220 kV Pooling Substation at Barsita Desh along with Associated 220 kV DCDS Transmission line (Route length 1.5 Kms).

It will also construct 331220 kV Pooling Substation at Ramnagar Pahad along Associated 22O kV DCDS Transmission line (Route length 3.5 Kms)
"BS Ltd has also bagged orders worth Rs 6.45 crore for Supply of Power Utilities, out of the total tendered Bids worth Rs 134.95 crore, while Bids worth Rs 128.50 crore are under process which include Projects of PGCIL & GETCO.
