BSE receives 190 investor complaints in Nov; resolves 290

Country's leading bourse BSE today said it received 190 investor complaints against 157 companies in November this year.
In the same month, the stock exchange resolved 290 investors' grievances against 239 listed companies.
The complaints are in the nature of non-receipt of money, non-receipt of equity shares in demat & physical form, non-receipt of debt, among others, BSE said in a statement.
"These resolved complaints include complaints brought forward from the previous periods," it added.
Of the total complaints, 179 investor grievances were against active companies, while 11 were against suspended firms in November 2014.
Among the resolved complaints, 287 complaints against active companies were addressed and another three against suspended firms.
Vatsa Corporations with 1,076 complaints has the highest number of complaints pending against it, as on November 30, 2014, BSE said.
Other companies with pending investor complaints are -- Montari Industries (60), Arihant Industries (54), Enkay Texfoods Industries (52), Montari Leather (49), Eastern Mining & Allied Ltd (48), Mukerian Papers (44), Pentafour Products (37) and Usha India (34) and Padmini Technologies (34).
Trading in the securities of all these companies have been suspended, the statement said.
