"I have decided to withdraw my candidature and extend my support to the congress candidate from Jammu East assembly constituency Vikram Malhotra," Gujjar told reporters here today.
He said that he along with his supporters have extended unconditional and wholehearted support to the congress candidate.
Gujjar said that he feels hopeful that congress candidate would develop the area after winning the election.
"I am more concerned about the people of Jammu East and feel that Vikram Malhotra can develop the area and fulfill the aspirations of the people of the constituency," he said.
