criticised the ruling SAD-BJP combine and termed the dispensation as "anti-people, especially anti-poor and anti-dalit."
Campaigning for the May 19 rural bodies polls, both Congress leader and former Punjab minister Joginder Singh Mann and BSP state general secretary Jarnail Nangal urged voters to decisively speak against "feudal and communal Akalis and BJP."
Addressing rallies, Mann alleged that Punjab government had miserably failed on all fronts.
"There is a state of anarchy as law and order has gone haywire in the state," he alleged.
During his address, Nangal accused the SAD-BJP alliance of indulging in unethical electoral practises and took strong umbrage to the use of photographs of BSP founder Kanshi Ram on election material by the ruling alliance.
"The use of Kanshi Ram's photo by SAD-BJP on their election material was not only immoral, but also violated electoral code. I have brought it to the notice of authorities," added Nangal.
