Budget session of Bihar Legislature from Feb 20

The Bihar Cabinet today approved a proposal to convene budget session of both Houses of Legislature for budget session from February 20.
The decision was taken at a meeting of state Cabinet presided over by Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi here.
The session would be convened from February 20 and would last till April 1.
B Pradhan, Principal Secretary Cabinet Coordination, told reporters that the Manjhi cabinet gave its approval to Memorandum of Understanding between the Centre and the state government to make Pusa Agricultural University as a Central university.
The cabinet gave its nod to decrease tax on tobacco and tobacco products (except for unprocessed tobacco known as 'khaini) from 30 per cent to 20 per cent.
It also gave its approval to setting up of an Industrial Training Institute and two centres for skill development in 34 districts affected by Left wing Extremism, Pradhan added.
