Budget session of Gujarat Assembly from Feb 24

The budget session of the Gujarat Assembly will commence on February 24 and the state's budget for the next fiscal will be presented on the opening day itself, it was announced here on Thursday.

The budget session, having 26 sittings, will start on February 24 and end on March 31, an official release said.

The budget for fiscal 2020-21 would be presented on the first day of the session by Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, who handles the finance portfolio, it said.
