The Business Advisory Committee (BAC), which met here under the chairmanship of Speaker Hiphei, also decided that the state annual budget for 2014-2015 and Supplementary Demand for grants for 2013-2014 would be presented by the state Finance minister, Lalsawta, on March 20.
It would be the first budget of Lalsawta, who earlier held the Education and Law portfolios in the previous government.
Governor, Vakkom Purushothaman, would deliver his annual customary gubernatorial address in the assembly on the first day of the session.
Lalsawta told PTI that as the Planning Commission was yet to sanction the state annual plan for 2014-15, he would be forcedto the present the annual budget, prepared on the basis of the plan size of the current fiscal.
