Budget session of Puducherry Assembly to begin tomorrow

The Budget session of the 30 member Puducherry Assembly will begin tomorrow with the customary address by Lt Governor Kiran Bedi.
An official source said the Business Advisory Committee would decide tomorrow the date of presentation of the full fledged budget for 2017-18 fiscl by Chief Minister Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, who holds the Finance portfolio.
The House had adopted a vote on Account in the two-day session on March 30 and 31,earmarking Rs 1481.06 crore for the first three months (April to June) of 2017-18 fiscal to enable the government meet its routine expenditure as a full fledged budget could not be presented.
The party wise break up in the 30 member House is: Congress 15 (including Speaker), DMK supporting the government from outside (two), AINRC (eight) AIADMK (four) and Independent (one).
