Bureaucrat killed before wife,hunt for suicide note on: police

Police is hunting for a suicide note in the murder of a senior bureaucrat and his wife, who were found dead in their house in Hazrat Nizamuddin area of south-east Delhi, after the post mortem report revealed that he was killed first.
"We are searching for a suicide note, either in a soft copy or hard copy, as investigations so far have revealed that there were high chances that the wife first killed her husband and then committed suicide," a senior police official said.
The couple's daughter reportedly told police that her mother was emotionally disturbed and used to have frequent fights with her father.

K Vijay Kumar (57), who was working as Cost Advisor with the Ministry of Food, was found lying in a pool of blood on the floor of a room while his wife Sita (51), a bank manager, was found hanging with her dupatta from the ventilator of an adjacent room Friday evening in their Kaka Nagar house in south Delhi.
The theory gains prominence as the postmortem report suggested that Kumar died due to the cut in his throat when he was asleep.
The time of death, in the report, suggested that Kumar died first due to slitting of throat, followed by his wife by hanging.

Police has ruled out the possibility of entry of anyone from outside as all the four entry doors were found locked from inside.
The incident came to light on Friday evening at around 4:15 when Kumar's daughter Varanya (22) reached home and found the main door of the house latched from inside, which was not opened by anybody even after she rang the bell several times.
When she tried to peep into one of the rooms through the window, she saw her father lying inside in a pool of blood after which she raised an alarm, police had said.
