Bus accident kills 8 children on school trip in China

At least eight schoolchildren were killed and more than 10 others injured after a bus overturned in southern China today, officials said.
The fully loaded bus turned over while on a spring outing organised by a school in Hainan province.
The cause of the accident is being investigated, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Schools in China traditionally organise outings for students in spring and fall.
