Bus driver crushed to death in Himachal Pradesh

The driver of a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus was today crushed to death allegedly after coming under the wheel of his own vehicle while changing tyres near Paror, around 13 km from Palampur, police said.
The victim Suresh Kumar (35) was driving from Ludhiana to Baijnath when one of the tyres of the bus punctured, they said.
While he was changing the punctured tyre, the jack slipped and he was crushed under the wheel, police said.
HRTC has given Rs 1 lakh as interim relief to the kin of the deceased, they said.
