Bus falls in pit, 15 injured

As many as 15 persons were
injured when the bus in which they were travelling overturned into a roadside pit today while trying to save a motorcycle rider, police said.
The bus was on its way to Athner from Betul when the mishap took place near Sehra village, about 10 km away from the district headquarters, an official at Betul city police station said.
The driver of the bus, Krishna Gavhade was trapped between the seat and steering, the officer said, adding, 15 passengers were injured in the mishap.
Villagers immediately reached the spot to rescue passengers and admitted the injured persons to the district hospital.
