In a tribute to the 'City of Joy' a leading FM channel has come up with a show focussing on its glorious heritage.
The show 'C/O Kolkata' will showcase the city's rooted yet contemporary lifestyle, 'adda culture of North Kolkata' and the retro-hued Bengali classics on celluloid, RJ Anindya Bose said.
The show by Anindyo, one of the frontline band singers of the city, will be aired on 92.7 BIG FM.
"It promises to be a unique show projecting the many-splendoured hues of Kolkata life, which still retains the old influences," Chandrabindoo band singer Upal, the music director of Open Tee Bioscope, said.
"We all know how letter addresses started with the C/O during our childhood days or when we rented house in a new locality. The show title will revive that nostalgia among not so young and make the Gen next curious about our traditions.
