Amit, who went missing on Monday night, was shot dead by unidentified men, police said.
He lived with his family in Nurpur area of Muradnagar, police said, adding that a case has been registered and they were trying to ascertain the reason behind the crime.
Amit was employed as a driver in a private firm.
According to the police, Amit's body was found by a passerby on Kannoja road this morning.
"We are yet to establish the reason behind Amit's murder. Police are interrogating some youths of his village. Besides, we are probing if he had any enmity with someone. Amit sustained bullet injuries in his stomach," said a senior police officer.
