Making a personal clarification in the Legislative Assembly under rule 48, Kadam, whose Bharti Vidyapeeth was named in the CAG report for having violated rules of land allotment, said even though the land allotment took place in 2004, the actual possession happened in February last year.
He said even though he is the founder of Bharti Vidyapeeth which was founded in 1964, he had quit all posts of the deemed university after he became a minister in 1992.
"Currently, I am just the chancellor of the University," he said. PTI MR DK
