Cambridge Assessment English teams up with TCS iON

Cambridge Assessment English, a department of the University of Cambridge, has inked a partnership with TCS iON, a strategic unit of IT major Tata Consultancy Services here today.
As per the partnership, Cambridge Assessment English will leverage TCS iON's Digital Assessment Platform's "high stake assessment capability to conduct examinations across the country," a press release said.
Tata Consultancy Services would administer Cambridge's computer-based Business English certificates throughout India, it said.
"The Cambridge Business English Certificates are well established in India, and are popular with both employers and universities," Cambridge Assessment English, CEO, Saul Nasse said after signing the agreement with TCS iON, Global Head, V Ramaswamy.

"By teaming up with TCS, we can benefit from their excellent infrastructure and customer service to make it much easier for people all across India..", he said.
"TCS iON is delighted to partner with Cambridge Assessment English. We will bring the platform capabilities along with the reach and presence to the Cambridge English," TCS iON, Global Head, V Ramaswamy said.
"We are extremely happy to work with Cambridge University to ensure that the technology we deploy is beneficial to the learners and professionals here," he said.
By teaming up with TCS iON, Cambridge Assessment English will make it convenient for learners from every State in India to take an internationally recognised Cambridge English; Business Certificate examination, the release added.
