The event's aim is to be a crucial cog in the burgeoning health and fitness revolution of the country.
The Elite Race at Saksham Pedal Delhi will be a National Championship, featuring 180 of India's finest athletes, both men & women, competing for a prize money of INR 8 lakh.
In Elite Race, the men will take five laps of the 9kms loop (45kms), while the women will take three laps of the 9kms loop (27kms), from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to the India Gate and back.
The Open Ride, timed 9km ride (1 lap of the 9km loop), will see both men and women experiencing the joy of cycling.
The Green Ride will see 2500 plus participants from various walks of life coming together to pedal for a greener tomorrow in the 5kms non-competitive category.
