Car mechanic found dead in car near race track

A 22-year-old car mechanic from Chennai was today found dead under mysterious circumstances in a car near Chettipalayam motor racing grounds on the outskirts, police said.
Karthik of Triplicane had come with his friend Deenan to participate in the two-day motor race, which concluded last evening at Kari Motor Speedway.
After the races, Karthik allegedly consumed liquor and slept in the car last night, police said.
Deenan, who arrived in the morning, found his friend dead in the car. He also noticed that Karthik had vomitted inside the vehicle, police said.
Further investigations are on, they said.
