The young adult film to be directed by Jake Schreier is a story about young neighbours who share the jarring experience of finding the body of a man who committed suicide, reported Variety.
Green, who also wrote 'The Fault In Our Stars,' confirmed the casting news of the 22-year-old supermodel via Twitter, "Cara Delevingne's audition blew everyone away (including me!) and she understands Margo profoundly. I am so excited!"
Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are producing the movie. Scott Neustadter and Michael H Weber (who also adapted Green's 'The Fault in Our Stars') are writing the script.
Fox 2000 seems to want to stay in business with the model-turned-actress, as she is also in talks to star in its Beach Boys inspired 'All Summer Long.'
She most recently wrapped production on the Warner Bros film 'Pan'.
