Cargill India ties up with Delhi Daredevils as principal sponsor

FMCG major Cargill India today partnered GMR Group-owned IPL cricket team Delhi Daredevils as its principal sponsor for the 2018 season.
Cargill India will promote its NatureFresh brand under this association. The company sells edible oils and wheat flour under this brand.
Besides, two-wheeler major Suzuki Motorcycle India under its brand 'Suzuki Gixxer' has tied up with the Delhi Daredevils (DD) as principal sponsor. Whereas Japanese air conditioning brand Daikin will continue to sponsor the DD team for next three years.
Announcing the tie up, Cargill India MD Deoki Muchhal said: "NatureFresh as a brand represents active living and this association with a sporting event is a natural extension of the brand ethos."

The logo of the brand NatureFresh will be sported on the back of DD team jersey beginning this season and will launch joint campaigns.
The brand association will be for all three sub-brands under its portfolio -- NatureFresh Acti-life Refined oils, NatureFresh Sampoorna Chakki Atta and NatureFresh Professional, he added.
DD Chief Executive Hemand Dua said, "The brand with its loyal consumer base will work as the perfect addition to our squad, allowing us to expand our reach over a wider audience.
