Tascioni was one of the most popular recurring characters on the legal drama, frequently helping the characters out of trouble. In 2013, Preston won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for the role.
The new series picks up one year after "The Good Wife" finale and follows Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) and her goddaughter Maia (Rose Leslie), reported Entertainment Weekly.
Diane and Maia are forced out of Lockhart and Lee after an enormous financial scam that also wipes out their finances.
The show is slated to premiere on February 19.
