The parents of the girls, aged six and eight, lodged a complaint last night, following which a case under Prevention of Child Sexual Offences Act has been registered against the taxi driver, who is absconding, they said.
The father of the minor girls had hired a taxi from Hansi to Gurgaon to visit Sheetla Mata Mandir on April 22 for 'Mundan' (hair-cutting ceremony) of his son, police said.
During the visit, the driver allegedly molested the two girls, who narrated what happened with them to their parents after the family returned to Hansi.
