Cash and silver stolen in broad daylight

Cash worth Rs 3.2 lakh and 1.25 kg of silver was allegedly stolen by unidentified men from a jeweller's car in Daudpur here, police said today.
The incident happened yesterday at 11 AM when Amit Jaiswal, a jeweller from Kushinagar, came to Gorakhpur by his car. His car was parked outside his sister's house in Daudpur area, they said.
After an hour, when he came back, he found the car open and it's window glasses broken. His belongings were also missing, they added.
Amit was carrying cash and silver for some business purpose, police said, adding that he later informed the Cantt police station about the theft.
