Cash snatched from couple
miscreants snatched a bag containing Rupees two lakh from a couple near a deserted village road in Kendrapara district today, police said.
The motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched the handbag of Gourahari Nath's wife who was riding pillion on her husband's two-wheeler at Sabalakanta village.
The couple was returning home after withdrawing the money from a nationalized bank in Chandol.
Even before they could raise an alarm, the criminals sped away, police officials said.
The police launched a manhunt to nab the offender.
