In a restricted activity, cashew kernel prices fell by Rs 5 per kg at the wholesale dry fruits market in the national capital on Friday on muted demand against sufficient stocks position.

Elsewhere, other dry fruits held steady in thin trade.

Marketmen attributed the slide in cashew kernel prices to muted demand from retailers against adequate stocks position.

Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 were down by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,065-1,070, Rs 955-975, Rs 870-875 and Rs 760-770 per kg, respectively.
