Stating this in a meeting held under his chairmanship here today for the promotion of digital payments, Chief Secretary D S Dhesi directed the Administrative Secretaries to again visit the districts allotted to them and review the special campaigns being conducted for educating the people about different methods of carrying out cashless transactions.
He said that Point of Sale (PoS) machines would be provided for maximising cashless payments for transactions of government departments and consumers.
A week back, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had asked officials of various departments to create awareness among the people about cashless society and electronic transactions.
