"When mobile phones were introduced initially in the country, people had problems in using them. But now, everyone owns mobile phones. Similarly, cashless transactions will be adopted gradually," Paswan said at an event organised by a newly-set up society 'INDIA Positive'.
The event was organised to commemorate the 132nd birth anniversary of former President Dr Rajendra Prasad.
Paswan said that "not many people know about Prasad's life and the struggle he underwent. He is in people's memory has India's first President."
Rajya Sabha MP R K Sinha, former Supreme Court Judge Shiva Kirti Singh and ex-Managing Director Jabong.Com Praveen Sinha were also present at the event.
