CAT-2014 was organised by Indore-based Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and a total of 1.7 lakh candidates appeared for the test.
"Result of CAT-2014 will be announced on December 27," CAT-Coordinator Rohit Kapoor, told PTI.
A total of 1,96,951 candidates had registered for CAT this year and 1.7 lakh candidates appeared for it, he said.
The test was held on November 16 and 22 at 354 centres in 99 cities across the country.
On the basis of result, admission will be given in 13 existing and six proposed IIMs beside other B-Schools. Admission on over 3,500 seats is likely to be given this year.
