Manufacturing and construction equipment company Caterpillar Inc has launched a digital solution to cut operational costs and improve efficiencies of its machines and equipment.
"Caterpillar Inc, a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives, has launched Cat Connect, a state-of-the-art digital solution to cut operational costs and improve efficiencies of its whole range of machines and equipment," the company said in a statement today.

Balachandran M reappointed as NPCI Non-Executive Chairman * The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has reappointed Balachandran M as Non-Executive Chairman for two years.
He had taken charge as Non-Executive Chairman two years back on resignation of former Chairman N R Narayana Murthy, NPCI said in a statement.

RBI puts Mysore coins on display at Monetary Museum * Reserve Bank's Monetary Museum has unveiled more than 100 Mysore coins of gold, silver and copper.
The display of Mysore coins was unveiled on August 20, RBI said in a statement today.
"The display comprises 112 Mysore coins (13 coins in gold, 6 in silver and 93 in copper), covers the monetary history of Mysore for a period of four centuries starting from AD 1565 after the battle of Talikota," RBI said.
