Caustic soda prices declined by Rs 50 per 50 kgs at the wholesale chemicals market in the national capital today in view of reduced offtake by consuming industries amid adequate stock positions.
Besides, increased arrivals from producing regions put pressure on the caustic soda prices.
Caustic soda flake fell Rs 50 to Rs 2,400-2,500 per 50 kgs.
Traders said, muted demand from consuming industries against increased arrivals from producing regions mainly pulled down caustic soda prices.
