Ekka, who lent support to the JMM-led alliance, moved the court of R K Choudhary requesting it to allow him to stay in Ranchi till July 30.
But the court allowed the Kolibera MLA to go to Ranchi on the two occasions only.
After Ekka lent support, JMM legislature party leader Hemant Soren took a list of 43 MLAs to the governor and staked claim to form a government in Jharkhand under President's Rule.
The apex court had directed him not to be in Ranchi without taking court's permission as he might influence witnesses.
Ekka's wife, Memon, surrendered to the CBI court on June 18 this year and is in judicial custody.
The Ekkas are among the accused in a disproportionate assets case of Rs 17 crore related to Enos Ekka's ministerial term during the Madhu Koda regime between 2006 and 2008.
Besides the DA case, Enos Ekka is also facing money laundering charges.
