A four-member CBI team visited Kokrajhar police station and Titaguri market here where Ahmed was killed by unidentified miscreants on August 1.
The CBI sleuths also collected all the materials related to the case from the Special Investigation Team which was constituted by the state government after the killing, the sources said.
Following Assam Government's request, the central government handed over the case the CBI.
